New shoes

I have this really nasty problem...a shopping problem :P
I'm training so much that my calf's always are to big when I'm trying to find nice winter boots.
This is a problem as mine is like 10cm bigger than average making it impossible to get anything higher than my ankle :(

So Finally I not only found a boot for 37cm calf's..I also found a leather worker willing to make them 3cm bigger so they fit...
So first a pair of brown ones and now a week later a pair of black ones..
Yeah I know they are expensive like hell..BUT!

Now I don't need to buy anything in winter boot way for at-least 7 years (my last one pair hold for 5 years with some uhm..zipper fixing etc)

This is perfect..and so worth the damn money, don't argue with me..
Even Centi agrees..or hes just bored to death running around every shoe shop in Stockholm trying to find me new shoes^^

Bisy fall

Hi all,
I know..long time, no see.
Its because Ive lived under a stone all summer...naah not really.
Started up with getting our kitchen in place and now the tiles are in place as-well.
the house has been a journey to renovate.
and when one thing is done..I just find 15 new things I want sorted so were not anywhere near to done. good thing is that there is not that much expensive projects left..mostly building storage areas, changing wallpapers and finding doors indoors that we both like.
Aim is ofc still to move form here in like 6 years when the economy is a a bit better and buy the dream home ;)

So ofc you are curious to death how it looks now right?....here it comes...^^

but now then starts the biggest challenge. Tiles and wallpaper.
Yeah u heard me..tiles for the kitchen and I just seriously need to get rid of that horrible epileptic wallpaper behind the huge painting (last picture)
so here is what Im thinking:

We have all cabins in white, all handles in brushed steel, workbenches are walnut.
tiles needs to be semidark.
we cant take white because then the entire freakking room is white and I dont want that.
But the wallpaper grey/black flowers *turns green* looks like a child wrote on the wall..needs to disappear. So...wallpaper that matches or at least picks up some of the colors in the room.
This int easy folks.
do u know how many producers of wallpaper there is? I dont but apperently more than companies that makes tiles. Its a djungel dammit.

So been googling the past days..discussing and came up with one wallpaper and one set of tiles...
now Centi decided tiles..so I think its just fair if I get to pick the wallpapers..right?

So here is a homemade collage of the two...ofc this can change like 500 times more but this is one suggestion atleast..your the first ones to see it so Im hoping for some comments.

Its actualy funny..I never get comments(more than spam) and yet still I have a shit loaf of ppl according to blogger that reads my blog..strange isnt it?

The tiles are 2x2cm mosaik called Höganäs CC Golden line brown.

The wallpaper (InTrade "Reflex") is actually not like that really the stripes goes from top to bottom but I want it in this direction so me and Centi just need to figure out how to get them in place:P
You start from roof to floor even though u do it in the "wrong" direction right?

And so the work begins...

with gettign the new kitchen in place ofc..
But before that I need to tell you..
that friday when it all was sorted I got a text message from above..the handymen were going to be 1 day late..so they arrived at 10aM on monday morning..
Kitchen was in place..and all my electronics. I have a few more grey hairs but...
....Its a fucking miracle.

But we had decided we needed help to tear down a wall aswell.
Its a wall doing no good except creating a 1,5m wide corridor between the livingroom and our computer room. so we wanted it cut in half...

So when the handymen came..they had some serious work to be doing...

after some serious fighting over the phone...

There was finally a decission made..lets use UPS to ge tht ekitchen to Stockholm.
EPOQ ( The company we purchaged the kitchen from) calls the trucking company up at 12,00 CET wednesday. And calls back to me.
-Gaia, I have bad news...the truck with your kitchen already left.
-WHAT?!?! but hten its ok they should arrive latest friday here in Stockholm so we can get out kitchen then...
-No..we need to get it to our central storage..repack it to an other truck and check so everything in the order is in place. But if I say we come with it first thing 8am on Monday morning..is that ok?
-Not really but what can i do...I think I can keep my handymen bisy from 6am on mondya mornign until the kitchen arrives so ok..deal.
But you better have everything in the delivery or I go nuts and bananas on you.
-With every right, I just hope this is all of it.

Few hours later phone rings...
-The telescopic addition to your owen..we found some here in the back..do you want ot come and pick them up or do you...
-Send them with the post..they are not big and I can pick them up closer than going 60mins one way to your store
-Ok, Ill put them comming today already so you shouldhave them tomorrow.

few hours more, phone rings again.
My heart kinda stops every time and I have started to hate the fucking signal, just bringing bad news again for sure.
- Hi its form electrolux...your stew..we are out of the sort you want..so we have 2 options..you wait for us to produce it or we try finding somethign else.
- Ok I can take somehtign else but it better have all the functions i want!
-I´ll check and call you back!

10mins later..phone rings again..SHOOT ME!!
-Hi Gaia, I have good news.
-*exhales*
-We dont need to replace the stew...
-Oh?
-No there is someone that has put one away for safekeeping for an other customer..and since you have had more than you share of problems I just give that one for you and the other customer can just take an other one or hope tha tin 2 months time whne he is to get his kitchen the stew is back in stock.

So the journey with our kitchen begins...
We picked out everythign we wanted in march..and delivery was to come 29/5.
One would think they got a lot of time to get my order togehter right?

15h before delivery I get a phonecall
-Hi Gaia, I have some bad news. the telescopic function you wanted incerted in your owen..we havent been able to get hold of them via Electrolux so you wont recieve them tomorrow morning as agreed originally.

14h before delivery phone rings
-Hi Gaia we have a problem :/
-Oh..what is my entire kitchen forgotten? *joking*
-uhm...yes.

-Our driver from the Czech republic has some car troubble so he has not left Czechia yet. But your kitchen is on its way so we need to book a new delivery date.
-Ok fine..as long its here befor eend of week things should be fine..my handymen arrives sunday to start working.

-...well neither is the stew. I cant find it and they tell me it isnt here.

New Kitchen

When buying a new appartment there is normally a lot of things to do...
Like change wallpapaers..Im pretty happy that even though the job is terribly done and the wallpapers are set up like shit in some places the colour is atleast not hidious and I can actually live with it.
this is not something I can say about the kitchen...
so we have for the past month and a half been running arround drawing kitchens all over Stockholm.
The prizes fluctuates a lot! and I mean a lot..IKEA can give you a kitchen for 20k, Kvick can give you a kitchen for 60k, Tibro Kök can give us the same damn kitchen for 90k..and thats about all the different prizeranges.
Our original kitchen sucks to be honest..its buildt on sight and the everything is non standard.
Meaning that we cant change small details we actually need to change the entire kitchen.
Not only do we not have any area that can be used for cooking (since its draining board in tin from start to end) but I dont actually have room for my stuff!!
And everyone knowing me knows that I actually dont have that much stuff to be honest but I do have a lot of food (rice, soup, cans, pasta, oats etc) and At the moment i have 2 of my very few dressers filled with...food. meaning all my plates and glasses cant fit so we still have boxes unpacked :(

this means ofc I just had to buy my self a new kitchen!

Appropå pengar, jag och Centi har även skrivit testamente.
Eftersom dessa sambolagar är lite diffusa så är nu Centi och min underbara lille (stora) bror arvtagare till mig. Känns bra :)
Gick i ett nafs..undrar bara smått om Centi informerade Dint (sin bror)ordentligt för hans komentar var bara att "-jaha då väntar vi bara på din död"
Lite morbidt underhållande men bevis på att han inte fattat något...han äver inte en pryl i huset eller fårn våra sparkonton innan både jag OCH Centi har dött.
Vi gör ju knappast varandra lottlösa om vi bestämt att skriva testamente liksom :P

Advokaten vi besökte för detta var imponerad över att så relativt unga tänker redan på detta med döden. Min lillebror blev mest rädd stackaren, han är ju inte så gammal och det är väl honom och mig som det är med hunden och jag.."-hon kommer överleva oss allihop^^ "

'Yes I could almost be his mother due to the age difference but there is a few good things with a elder sister..I have a steady job and I can spend as much money I want on his presents..menaing the boy gets what the boy wants..yet an other memberof my family Im spoiling:P

The Appartment

I know I know I promised pictures to you all in like end of january and sinc eIm never home nowdays due to my business travels its just taken untill now to get theese posted.

Been working my ass of together with Centi this weekend.
Trying to get my essay done timely to sen dit in on sunday...
I have like 10 pages written.
Good thing is its not the final version yet..we will have that in may..end of may actually.

This is just to get some feedback on the essay.
so Ive been writing my methodology all damn day...
Now Im soon of to Bumbi to eat some dinner..drink some wine and not do a shit!

Oh btw..I actually bought a 40" TV today.
A Samsung LCD tv...now I just need the damn "arm" to hang it in from the roof and then were all set to go ^^

saturday..

So the past week Ive been working form home..first time in ages.
Feels good...
but could be even better if I didnt have 3 weeks to finalize an entire B essay :/
so yeah a bit stressed atm I can tell you.

anyway, today our combat instructor had to film her class and send it to Les Mills
problem is that the room in City that we have combat in really sux...
It doesnt help that the instructor is like 10cm shorter than me aswell.
Trying to jump in the front but between her and the camera there was like 5 187cm ppl making life a bit hard.

Todays heroic filming was done by Centi.
We buildt a throne for him our of step up boxes and he sat there the entire hour holding the film camera and making sure that right person was on tape.
The class went ofc great and we screamed like there was no tomorrow ^^
Now were just holding thumbs that the video is ok and then we can all relax a few more months :P

oh and..OMGOMGOMG..Centis computes came today..guess what hes doing? ^^
ofc..building it..I just fel asleep on the sofa meanwhile *blush*

Centi bought a new comp

Its cool actually, the new chassi.
Ofc I*m not going to tell u all the inside specifics..then someone might think that I actually know about all these IT stuff and that cant happend :P

lampa to be or nott o be....

hmm..har letat länge och väl efter en lampa till vår "Lounge" avdelning i V.rummet...
letat och letat...
Mitt problem är at tjag vill hanått stort, nått annorlunda och framför allt...nått som förtjänar utsigken från 3 håll och som skall fängsla allas blickar utifrån gården som nyfiket försöker kika in.
Nu tror jag mig ha funnit den...MEN!
Den finns ingenstans och se på riktigt...
Jag menar alltså jag har sett foton/bilder och beskrivningar men inget liksom slår att få ta känna och pilla på grejerna.

Äntligen fick jag köpt mitt träd....SWEDESE "TREE"
Från Svenssons i Lamhult..3000 kr fattigare och ett "träd" rikare.

Så nu är det sandbruna väggar...ETT Stort SVART träd som kapphängare fastmonterat på väggen...YEY
vidare är rummet inrett med en stor svart spegel..en stor ek byrå..
En svart bänk med skoställ under sittutrymmet på klinkersdelen av hallen...

Nu jagas det bara en svart dyna till bänken och en tak lampa som passar in.

Sen..sen är det klart ^^

Gaia Shopping

And everyone that knows me starts probably to smile now. Its not because it never happens really its rather that I'm not shopping the normal stuff as girls usually do, yeah well u know shoes, makeup and shit. OK, if its not training shoes, body paint for sensation or training clothes. And actually its none of it..I went to my favorite sport store and bought a.....CROSS-TRAINER!! Yeah u heard me..an own one..it live snow in my living room, looking dead ugly (I need a bigger apartment seriously) anyway, my plan is to every morning stand on that thing for between 30-60 minuter depending on how I'm gonna train the rest of the day. Its orange, its cool its...MINE!!!! And I do know what ppl think now.. "-WTF the girl is at the gym like 10h/week what the hell is she to buy training equipment for" And that is true..problem is that I suck at cardio..really suck at it. I love taking a long walk with Xa..but not when Em tired as hell, or it rains, or hales, or snows or..yeah well u get it. So the Cross-trainer is here to mock me every time its bad weather outside that I cant skip training :P So now I don't have any excuses not to..and besides..when I'm traveling Im always on the cross-trainer at least 30 mins each morning before breakfast..and I like it..so why not do it at home ;) wish me luck!

Balcony furniture is in place

And the balcony looks totally different..the top pic below..thats what I bought..but in black..
Now I need a new carpet..some pillows (loads of them) and then curtains..
My plan is to get a bit of a Harlem look/feeling inside the balcony.
Centi doesn't like the idea at all but.....I LIKE IT!
Pics will come same sec I managed to find pillows i like...but its a lot more cosy already :)

Also We finally found a lamp for Centi's decorated room at the summer house...theme is WHITE forest...and the perfect lamp has arrived..(Pic is coming)
Its gonna be awesome.

Ive also been seaching for soemthign to hang clothes up on during the night as Xa has a bad habbit of sleeping on our clothes and I found somehtign perfect to the whiote forrest theme..but its so damn expensive :S But its cool..look

Balkongen...

Men det blir tomt på balkongen när möblerna åker till utsidan..har nu under en längre tid fundera på vilken stil jag vill ha på balkongen samt vad jag faktiskt vill kunna göra där. Sitta bekvämt och sola ligger högt på listan så jag har kommit på att jag vill ha pallar på balkongen..alltså inte pallar i form av liten kvadrat utan större pallar..nästan chäslonger 120x60x30 typ..+ tjock dyna..som man kan foga samman vid behov för att få en mysig hörna på balkongen..med massa kuddar och plädar på hösten. Har hittat två varianter på "pallar" (man får glasskiva till oxå så de kan bli bord..(bilderna är utan dynan/glaset) vad tycker du?

Tanken är att jag skall hänga upp 4 breda ljusa tyget från mitt i taket på balkongen upp till hörnena..jag har inte riktigt löst hur jag gör med infravärmen på hösten men det löser sig :P
Kommer bli lite harem känsla..med levande ljus och så...fast i betydligt modernare etappning.
Skall bli spännande och få inreda nått igen...länge sedan jag gjorde nått större:P
att köpa v.rums lampa för 3k räknas inte.
