Strange project meeting

Yesterday just before traveling back home I was in a 4h finalizing meeting about a new product that is to be rebranded at the depots in Norway 1/11.
This was my first meeting in my new role (I was there sitting on two chairs actually both my new and old title) And I agree, everything looked great on the paper until I started asking questions. That I should not have done, I managed in less than 2h embaress both the project lead and some of the bosses. Yeah me making impression again.
How can they do a regrinding on Saturday when they have not talked with anybody about the TA that is supposed to do the job.
So Saturday..no can do was my first say. TA has been working so hard they cant work overtime in the rest of the year. Then they don’t have the knowlage since we just the day before got to know everyone is leaving GIB and just working in GSAP where the rebrand is done..and some ppl hasn’t even seen GSAP yet. So beside giving my self a crisis people understood that month end needs to be done before the rebrand can take place and suddenly Saturday was Tuesday. Ofc I managed to do all my actions in less than 15 mins (fix GSAP support for Tuesday and send out E-mails to TA to inform the ations taken)
I even managed to identify a gap that we can not record any movements in GSAP from 1 Nov until rebrand was made so I got an entire team of 8ppl sitting still for 1.5 days due to the rebranding otherwise it would have been a mess.
When leaving the meeting I just had to…
-Sorry guys for destroying your meeting but things working on the paper needs always a reality check. (They actually thanked me and wanted me to come to the follow up telecon) I mean how stupid are they..they didn’t even understand that this has a inpact on reconciling and invoicing is going to be delayed...it would make there KPI:s look realy bad. What can one say more?

Terminal Admin Teamlead Norway/Finland

That..above is my new title.
So Gaia has become this BIG boss..
13 Shell employes all reporting to me, my first 5 tasks will be to map the Terminal admin (TA) role and make a job description for them.
After that I need to make it streamline. (standardized more or less 100%)
I need to give training to the ppl and try to remove GIB so that they can actually do there work.
I also need to address to other lines of business to take there responsibility since the TA is overworking atm and doing a lot of work for Supply, aviation, marine and so on.
This needs to stop!
On top of this I so need to visit ALL the depots..Ive only been to the Sjursöya terminal and visited the Norwegian GSAP superuser Mrs G. (shes the best J )
And I have been frightened by my boss that I will get these crazy performance indicators of various kinds that is going to measure how good im doing my job.
The best in this is..its only one person sitting on the same role now as me..and that’s Hans..the guy that hates me. He got Sweden and DK as his countries. (I had DK aswell but apparently he started complaining that he only got Sweden so my boss “gave him” DK witch in reality is 1 person more..but now we got “two contries each”
Hans hates my guts..going to be so much fun working with him..mostly because now I can truly show him what Im made of..YEAH BABY it’s a competion for sure.
Thing is that all the KPI:s and stuff is compared with other people with same role as you..meaning me and Hans are compared to eachother. Took me a while to realize this but nw its my turn..hes been rude, mean and ignorant..I will have the best attitude int eh world..I will do my best and that..only that is going to bring him down!

Massage new experience

Today was the second time that Im in Oslo and the people gets massage by this guy every other week. So G just OMG!! U stressed for sure..go write u name on the list (sec after she had wrote my name on it already) I was like..well..but…ok. J
Its actually really nice but I had a lot of meetings and stuff so I didn’t think I could take the 30 mins of..but I did.
Was really nice..and interesting.
The only thing he talked about was that my body was in great shape and that its fun to give massage to a person where its so easy to feel the muscle groups. He talked about my body in a way that made me totally unhuman, he sounded like ha was talking about an animal or whatever.
Anyway, suddenly he just..-Im sorry but could you please turn I need to check your breast muscles? I was like WTF..well hes like in his 50s so if he hasn’t seen a ½ naked woman until now I pitty him. (good thing I had underwear where I could only take the shoulder straps of so I didn’t actually show much.
And this was the weirdest experience ever when given massage..
A person has the upper breast muscles and then u have a set of smaller ones beneath the big ones..it was those small ones he needed to kill.
Yeah, kill is the word..when he started my arms got all hot..it was like someone was injecting hot water through the arm down to the elbow.
He explained that those muscles one cant stretch out at all and In my case I have been training so much and never given them attention so they were trying to pull my shoulders down in the front which would eventually give me neck pain.
When coming out 30 mins later my chest and shoulder felt like overrun by a truck but I hade gain new knowledge about my body, and he told me that next time I come back if I want to he can continue working on those two small muscles. Totally new experience and he was truly a professional.

The new role

The new role, mondag
I have been most bisy the past weeks but still managed to train atleast a few times/week.
When arriving to Oslo today I discovered that even if it is not officially pronounced yet that I will get the new position people has already started asking me a lot of the teamlead role that I will have from 1 Nov.
(new date set last Friday) So from saying yes I got less than one week before I start.
The discussion now has been my salary. Since I want the travelbonus to disappear Adecco and Shell will have a hard time to match the salary I have been having the past 6 months without giving me crazy sums of money.
Mr P my old Teamlead from the Gothenburg team (G12) is handling the bonus thingy still and his reaction was. “Not even I earn that much money!”
Felt kinda stupid way of saying it though..i have Nordic responsibility I travel in my work and I have Shell emploees reporting to me (he doesn’t have any of it)but he has a lot of more ppl to take care of..BUT..all are contractors meaning he has no salary discussions or anything with them since that’s handeled by there employer not the customer. So that cant even be compared.
The Swedish jelousy as its best right…dont think he even sayed Grats :D
I know what Callisto would say..-He prolly has a small Di*k
For ones I truly understand and totally agree.

Oslo again

So this week Im three days in Oslo again.
New Hotell (since everything else was fully booked) First Hotell Millennium.
And guess who has a junior svit? *points at her self*
Nothing special with it though..i get a separate bedroom so atm I have kinda a "livingroom" but still in bed watching TV.
Yesterday was a loong day..from 05:oo AM untill 21:00 working.
But today its a meeting planned for this afternoon..with my boss and my new boss.
Hopefully will get some more details regardign the new job..and finally get an offer :)

Battle of Bodies

So today it was finally the BATTLE OF BODIES at my gym.

1h Combat first a 10 min break to put all weights together and then 1h of Pump.

My body is so dead..I didnt eat to well before netiher..

Had to leave Xa at Lottas place so ..took a cup of tea there and then I just run of to the gym.

Took me one of those Guarana & Caffeine sport drinks (500ml) and I was shaking like 2h after the training session still..Thats what happends to ppl not used to Caffeine.

But damn I was allert the whole 2 h session..that drink is for horses Im sure..kept me running on nothing for several hours so..and guess what..100 Kcal for the whole bottle..cant be legal :P

OMG..but training was soo fun..and the exhausted little Gaia got rescued by her prince that fed her McD and then put her into a hot shower when comming home.

Shopped Wrist weights

Today after a great combat class a nice little idéa was born within somein the class.

Since the most of us doesnt get aches of combat anymore.

(were doing it way to often)

We thought well...Combat with weights could be a new challange.

Not the entire class maby since that vcould kinda unjur shoulders and hips but maby first song or a few of them and then take them of if one gets a bit to tired..

So...wristweights has now been bought for next saturday combat :P

Next stepp is to buy or have them around ankles aswell (or) so it makes kicking a bit heavier aswell. We only bought 0,5kg to start with and after a while if we think its working nicely...then we can swich to heavier if needed..

I have a feeling I will be dead in my arms next saturday :P

OH BTW....after saturday combat (13,30) we were talking of going to the Sucho Thai restaurant just by the gym at Drottninggatan, GBG so all that wants to join u welcome to come.

We meet up outside and we will c how many we are ;)

More Pump today...

...and I can barely move..Im on 4th reserve..Callisto is going to be there..so Its nice to meet her.
But my body is kinda dead today..
Yesterday I thought well i havent been training in 3 days so my lazy ass is going to put on more weights and do everything even more focused..I cant even sit om a chair today..my butt hurts like hell.
And still..if i get in to the pump class..Im so taking an aspirin to survive and go anyway..besides..tomorrow its Combat time again..
My body is gonna be dead on sunday..yoga maby ^^
Monday they have this insane class (im going to Oslo on tuesday instead due to this event)
First 60 mins of combat and then directly after that 60 mins of pump ;)
After that I can go to Oslo for a few days :P
And then back home to train some more..the week after Ill be home and the friday 31/10 Ill get the keys to our appartment so all friday and saturday is moving for me..unpacking all my clothes and stuff..think I need to go to IKEA on saturday to buy desks to me and Centi..for our computers. :)
Gonna be a blast to get back to the old/new app very exiting indeed.

Training day

• 07,30 up from bed to eat something and start working
  (Didnt go to well i started working and forgot to eat untill 9,30)
• Eat well - and i did.
• 10,55 Go to gym
• 11,30 Body Pump put on more weights than last time..and oh yees i did!!
• 12,40 Out from class grab a Gainomax
• 12,50 Talkyou self up on the Combat reserv list..got in..reserv nr 10 (last spot)
• 13,20 Home and back to work
• 15,30 WTF..were did all day go..check my bookings..my combat class is not there..WTF!! O_o
• 16,00 Call the gym..OMG..im 1reserv...*through clothes on and run*
• 16,30 at the gym bought my self a banana and an guarana/coffein energy drink
• 16,55 IM SHAKING?!!? like crazy..wtf?!
• 17,00 Body Combat..insane..met Callisto there aswell
• 17,15 My arms are shaking
• 17,30 My legs are shaking nice way doing the kicking :S
• 18,00 Class over..damn coffein..Im not made for this..trying to drink water but im all shaky...this cant be healthy?!

OMG!!!! Asked for a new job within Shell

The Hotel in Lilleström is great..realy recomend it.
the meeting has went on fine and I hope that me and Gros training session is giving the people some new knowlage. We found a lot of issues to action during the meeting but overall it was great...then suddenly at 14,00 my boss came in to introduce him self :)
Hes realy nice and funny and asked how he could make the TOAs life a bit easier..and after discussing this we was to go to Gothenburg for an other meeting...we still havent had our Face to face meeting so I asked him breafly if we could take it before he left..
he was like yeah no worries..it only take s a few mins.

So we went out from the meeting room and stood in the corridor and then suddenly.
"we have been thinking, we need a peron to be teamlead over all the TOAs. In the start we want to try with Norway that has 14 TOAs and after a while add the rest of the Nordic counties aswell. I havent checked all the formalias yet, we would like to give this person a Shell contract for one year to begin with, and that person is in the end of the day to be the boss over all Nordic TOAs..the job will be located in Oslo..and I You Gaia have a remarkable reputation over everything you put your hands on..We would love to have you on this position...

I dont know how I managed to stay totally cool..dont think i actually still have realy understood this..ofc I answered yes BUT...Im not to move to Oslo..I told my boss that the TOAs are spread all over norway and If i call them from gothenburg or from Oslo doesnt matter realy adn I am already travelling this much so travelling to Oslo everyweek is not to be a problem for me.
I will get a Shell payed appartment in Oslo cty central and a very good salary i get a Shell creditcard and I AM TO BE A NORDIC TEAMLEAD!!!!
My boss has been given the task to write down for me a bit more of what the expectations is for this job and some practical stuff. After that Im to give a YES or NO carved in stone.
I have made it very clear to both my boss and the Norwegian boss that I have no IRL exp of leading people adn they just smiled and..well..how old are u? im like 29
they just smiled and well..youll get plenty of help no worries and If someone is up for this and makes it good its going to be you. And we want to have you onboard as soon as possible :)

Im mostly..What have I done within Shell that makes them love me this much..Im not working that much more than I have done before in my other asigments in other companies and I have never untill the past year within shell had the highest european boss calling me on my cell and telling me how damn good I am and how happy he is to have me within the company.
Or maby Shell sees sucess when its under there nose? ^^

This week is going to be insane...and strange

So Took the train 06,30 to Oslo arrived here and been running aroung th eoffice like a maniac all day. Now everyone but me and the Norwegian boss have gone home.

I dont know why but everytime im travelling im working untill midnight, spec here in Norway.

Its a very nice office with nice ppl and a great atmosphear so..Im enjoying it..

I will be here today then travel tomorrow morning to a meeting in Lilleström and on wednesday morning Im flying from Oslo to Copenhagen for an other meeting..so this week is going to be very stressful.

I just had the trangest conversation with the Norwegian boss....

He started talking in general about Norway and Iadviced that Gro (the person that is superuser in Norway in ticketing) needs some support because she is doing all theese things that actually is not a Terminal Operator Admins work (shes suposed to do in- and exports but is sitting with invoicing and support of conferens rooms and stuff like that..makes no sence)

So I told Kurt (the boss) that he prolly needs to hire one more person otherwise we will loose Gro to the mental hospital shortly ;)

Suddenly he started talking about that there is need for ppl all over norway and then..

He just asked me suddenly..are you married back home?

WTF..strange question so I answerd no..i have a boyfriend and dog..and hes like.."you enjoy Gothenburg? or could you think of moving..lets say here for an example?"

Well Im not stuck here in Gothenburg more than because of my friends I answered him bu..Oslo is just 3,5h by train..so If I was to have a job here I could just come on monday morning and leave on friday back home...

Then after a few mins of discussing how to work on a train he suddenly changed subject to something totally different..WTF

What is all this about..what is he fishing after...

Back in Gothenburg

The past week I have eaten..SOOOOO much
no joking I have for sure gained 5kg during the week..
I had constantly something in my mouth.
I mean how fair is it..I had one week to eat all the stuff I love so I manage untill next time (a year or so) You can imagine and then that like 5 times..:)

But..had a blast..Was great meeting Milja again.
She is one of my absolute best and IS my oldest friend..It was her and I that went our first day to school hand in hand then only 6 years old..and have stayed friends all theese years it is 23 years this year actually..strange..damn im old..hahahha

Now Im back home and the comming week is to travel to Oslo Norway again.
Recived last week an Email from my boss..very short one saying he wants us to meet face to face...I wonder what Ihave done now..feels like beeing calle din by the teacher in scool..
*ears hanging* we will c next week wont we :D

Now Im of to my combat class...Saturday is training day..and tonight were going to the cinema ;)

Turku-Finland

Home Sweet home:) Flight went great and it feels truly as comming home again.
Pretty strange that a country were i moved from 17 years ago still feels like home.

In the airplane I got a nice gentleman helping me with my luggage (an other passager) and I even got help to put my coat on in the plane.
Was talking to Centi on the phone and he was like..It would be creapy if that happened in Sweden. But this is Finland..adn here the culture is totally different.
So, after a few cups of tea...some soup..and then Sauna I went to bed sooo happy and relaxed.

Nice to be home:)

Moomin shopping

Im leaving to Finland tomorrow..more pleasure than business.

Going to be great, Back to Turku the town I was born in to visit Milja my dear and very old classmate. We started first class together..and went hand in hand to our very first classroom.

We have kept contact through all of theese years and its like we never have been one day appart even if we live in totally different countries.

I truly love her :)

So today we went out for Moomin shopping ^^

Milja is collecting Moomin china..so I know she has a lot of moomin mugs..but not sure she has the little plates that goes with the same porslin..

so I thought of buying some for her, three to be axact...one of them is this one below :)

Back to School

Dubble class today..first Pump at noon and then combat in the afternoon..
Need to traina lot..next week is all eating and no training :(

And I have a entire book to read..uhm..well actually 5 of them but this one is one of the three that we are going to have lesson about so..

Feels great going back even though I havent realy finnished everything from my last semester.
Working on it though.

Dentist..last visit 2006

Got a card in my mailbox telling me that you havent been here in ages better drag u ass here..and since then Ive so tryed..but my job realy has taken over my life.
Got an other card a few days back saying..we sent u a card a year ago u better come here..

Good thing is that Im home in Gotehnburg all of this week so I called yesterday before i went to the gym and he actually had (45mins before) had a cancellation for today at noon.
So..this morning Ive been brushing my teeth like a madman so get them as clean as possible before he was looking into my mouth.

He was realy serious..took pics and all..I was sooo nervous.
Im usually very good girl and go there every year but the past year has been totally insane for me so..it was forgotten..dentist pl forgive *blush*

Anyways..after 20 mins he pulled all the stuff out of my mouth and smiled.
OMG O_o Im doomed I have 500 holes in my mouth!!!
