Jingle freacking bells...

So fall has been crazy...at least work wise.
My contract was to expire in end of October..then I got the new challenge in Canada and Ive now visited Calgary for the first time (will ofc post pics later from my trip that for ones was a bit more than airport hotel, office, hotel, plane home:P).

We all agreed my contract was to be prolonged til end of march 2013.
So, happy as I got not to try to find a new job. And I can tell you that in the middle of a finance crisis its not the easiest to find the most "exiting jobs" so Ive been searching on and off for a year now and I found like 17 jobs in total that I can think of doing...:/
doesn't sound to promising.
anyways. so I decided to put my job search semi on hold over the holidays at least..then BAM!
there was an audit in the Nordics and the internal billing that we been doing the past few months was not OK suddenly :(
This means that as of 3 weeks me and my friends in Canda need to figure out a way how to hire me as temp staff in Canada but without me losing my social security in Sweden where I belong.

Ive been spending the past 3 weeks calling, taking notes, filling in templates, sending it to different governmental people and at the same time holding my 150% job.
This has been far from a easy task to do.

Meanwhile my BF Centi has his job as game developer and to find jobs to keep the one you have has shown to be pretty hard in the business. So we been looking and playing with the idea that both of us are without a ob as of 1Jan 2013.

We figures out we are not going to get anything dine..sitting home watching Dexter and The Mentalist and playing WoW is not going to give us work..LOL

But luckily on Friday his company got a few contracts keeping them busy for a year or so..and it seems that my dear Canadian friends is working on getting me into Kelly Services in Canada.

So it all seems to work out again..and yes..AGAIN.
Its been like this for the past 3 years with my job and somehow they always manage to keep me just a few days before shit hits the fan.
I love the company I work for and I love the work I get to do and the travels that are needed in my role but my god I hate audits and regulations doing nothing good for anyone really just to make sure to save "a few" ones that are not capable of taking care of them selves.

In the Nordics HR is hunting my ass..they are forcing the company to hire me for good and not letting me be temp staff.
EVEN though i WANT TO be temp staff...if I wasn't temp..I would never have this much fun at work as I have had the past 6 years. :P

geography lesson...

I landed with the plane from Calgary Canada.

Anyways..In Calgary we had like minus 3c and landing in Stockholm we had -15c
Don't know what went wrong.
I'm joking to the Canadians that Nordics is like Europe's Canada..so they all loved me..asking if the US people thought we had polar bears walking our streets to.

there is actually people out there that thinks that Sweden is a part of US.
Funny isn't it?

So I thought I know a lot of people  outside of Sweden reading my blog so here is a bit of geography for you all^^

1. Nordics and it is containign of 4 countries.
Finland: Where I was born,people very extroverted IF you know Finnish. Sauna is originally form this country and they are known for their drinking habits.
Sweden: Where I currently live, friendly bunch with key words like, "lagom" and "Fika" (google it)
Norway: where I work..ed. They got oil, good food and fantastic mountain landscape
Denmark: Where swedes goes to buy cheap beer^^ Say no more:P

2. This is Canada. this is where Ive just been to work and this is where I will work as it seems a few more months. Fun people, very lovable.
Climate about the same as in Sweden (at least in Calgary) No polarbears and no penguins (they live on the south pole also for those who didn't know bears and penguins is on the opposite side of the globe..not bathing in the same pool.

 

So I had made my self very prepaired...

and then only two weeks before I was suposingly to leave my workplace after 5 years I got on-boarded on new stuff..In Canada.
Yep..so I'm now helping Canada to survive GSAP and help to create and roll out all the processes within the supply chain.
I haven't gotten to go there..yet..but think that will be a future discussion.
So contract now expires end of November but I'm not to worries really.I am more than busy and there is no way we can get everything in place in just a few months.

So seems I will be staying for a while^^

Leaving my workplace

as I told you before..bisy fall...

so I will be leaving Norway and my workplace in end of september, after 5 years of blood, sweat and laughter.
The organisation is starting to stabilisize and moving on to a more facilitating type or organization.

There is still a lot of change happening but not anything bigger really.
so I'm in a cross-row of wanting to stay in the stabile environment where I know everyone and everything and at the same time..starting to feel the urge to move, to see and to explore more organizations. Its a strange feeling, Ive been working with my colleagues for so long I'm going to miss em all.

I have so many great memories of our struggle, disagreements, firefighting, crizis, breakthroughs, all the meetings, dinners and our celebrations when we managed to kill of challange after challange, knot by knot straightening out the supply chain and becoming an even more successful organization.
Its been truly a journey worth all the work, with all the caring people in the organization that made all of this possible.

I wish you all a fantastic continues of your journey...its time for me to jump of the train and climb into the next one to seek new challenges and new adventures.

So the kitchen.....

Here it is...without tiles and cover sides for the lamps..we need to decide tiles and wallpaper and shit befor eth erest can be put upp.
But this is our new 7,5 meter kitchen with a baking area and a bar desk to sit at.

Quite a difference right?
The fridge and freezer arrives next week so now I need ot get all my shit in place and be ready to get the last electronics in place :)
Im so happy Im about to faint..Finally I can start living in this shithole called capital of Sweden :P

Day and night....

Working day and night...from monday at 10AM til tuesday at 23,00 CET.
The guys barely slept and even when doing that they made up new plans for how to fix the kitchen.

Nothing was missing..I mean...NOTHING. We gotten a "goodiebag" witht he delivery with extra of every crew, plug and shit we ever might need but then the problems arrised...
The fridge and freezer is 180. the cabins above is just 40. its going to be a huge gap between the two.
and it just looks shit if we dont get the cabins same hight from the roof...
So in the late mondya evening..with BBQ and beer infront of them the guys figured it out.
Lets build int he electronics!! Lets build a cabin arround the two..that way we can rase them from the ground..and get it symmetric and goodlooking. Perfect!
And that they did...

And so the work begins...

with gettign the new kitchen in place ofc..
But before that I need to tell you..
that friday when it all was sorted I got a text message from above..the handymen were going to be 1 day late..so they arrived at 10aM on monday morning..
Kitchen was in place..and all my electronics. I have a few more grey hairs but...
....Its a fucking miracle.

But we had decided we needed help to tear down a wall aswell.
Its a wall doing no good except creating a 1,5m wide corridor between the livingroom and our computer room. so we wanted it cut in half...

So when the handymen came..they had some serious work to be doing...

Radiosilence

is now broken.
Happened way to much this fall to even write it all here.
But here is a few:

• Iwe changed my employer within the assignment.
• Centi got a new job
• One of my best friends were falsely accused of stalking.
• We need to move to Stockholm
• We got a apartment change, that didn't happen, that then again would happen and then it didn't.
• We had to buy an apartment
• Look at appartments
• Run to Banks to get a loan with reasonable requerements
• We needed to plan Xmas and new year
• Do all the grossary shopping for the event
• Plan the move over entire Sweden
• I started my Sociology studies
• Need to travel back and forth to STHLm to look at appartment/write contract/get keys etc

and then ofc, adress change, training card, electricity contracts, phones etc etc....

Ill show u the appartment we bought atleast :)

rygg jävel

så åkte till Oslo, och på tisdagen kunde jag fan inte komma upp ur sängen..fick rulla mig själv sidled och hålla andan..mina svankmuskler är bokstavligt talat i kramp!
Idag kom jag till kontoret och massören var där. Han är killen som löste min nackspärr på 15 minuter, av nån konstig anledning så fungerar massör väldigt bra på mig.
Han fick efter 20 minuter slit loss mina ryggmuskler och under tiden jag låg där och kved fick jag mig en jävla utskällning.

Naprapaten skulle ha varnat mig om att detta kunde hända menade han på samt att jag definitivt borde fått ett återbesökstid inom loppet av max en vecka. Min aryggmuskler var i så kallad "kemiskchock" hört nått så roligt :/

Troligen har naprapaten genom att knäcka loss bröstryggen ändrat hela min tungdpunkt över ryggen och nu sliter alla mina muskler som fna för att hålla bålen stabil.

Därav mina problem. Rådet från massören..ta det lungt..låt musklerna vila nu..ingen träning. Dom har tränat nonstop i 2veckor!!
Ouch..så nu ligger jag i badet på kvällen och dushen i 40 minuter på morgonen för att få igång muskulaturen..lite stelt är det fortfarande,
Dock konstigt nog..nu när svanken släppte så känner jag att jag har faktiskt smärta mellan skulderbladen?!?!
Vad fan i helvete har hänt??

Xas bakben

Är man 10,5 år så är man. Nu har man varit på sommarstället och badat en massa..simma med flytväst var tydligen helt ok tyckte fröken päls. Tog en paus tors-söndag..och den behövdes. Bara andas, dricka te, titta på utsikten och inte göra nått. Ljuvligt är ledordet.

Im alive...Im alive...

Ok so since lastpost let me see...
I was in Hamburg again.. I was in Oslo...planned trip for 2 days but ended up spending the entire week there. work ofc..no vacation here. But nothing bad happends without bringing some good right? All midsummer planning was done by Centi. He sent out lists to people what to bring and it worked really nicely. 'Well atleast most of it:P Midsummer was supposed to be a quiet event some good food, good wine and nice company. Ended u with 13 ppl, not so quiet and we went out to dance all damn night long not really planned for but what does one do when your written ont eh guest list..I can tell u what u do..U GO!!! uhm..also..ther eis this nex Xider..passionfruit..love it! please make a note about it :P

My life just now

goup really freakking early, sit in a plane, come to a office, go from office, check in to hotel, have to little to eat for dinner, sleep, go up freakking early, go to office...loop a few days
then go to office, go to airport, sit in a plane, swop to an other plane, sit in a taxi, get home, kiss dog, go to bed...and then the circle starts all over again.

BAH!

Oslo all week long

Been fairly busy at work again.
Don't quite know how to get my life back but a good start is that next week I will be home all week. Really looking forward to that to be honest.
Thought I have some meetings in general I don't feel quite as stressed over the fact of working a lot since I at least can hug my dog and my bf from time to time :P
but its raining in Gothenburg..Bah!

Also a old WoW friends of mine form Greece is visiting Gothenburg this week, hes leaving next week so I'm very much looking forward to meet with him. We have said saturday so I'm hoping for a very nice night out. Long time and we haven't seen in 2 years *sad puppy*
Going to be very fun :D

The Netherlands

So what have I been doing?
Last week Xa went to Foxes house and got to stay there for 5 days.
Fox got a bit frustrated since Xa is in that month of the year :P ofc vagging her tain in his face constantly to piss him off. Thats my girl ^^

Meanwhile me and Centi took the direct flight form Gothenburg to Amsterdam.
this weekend is a bit special in the Netherlands its queens-night and queens day and that equals loads of party. Cant miss that.

We lived at Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport, hotel is just fantastic with great service and best of all..a big gym. So Centi was more than happy :P
We didnt have to much time to gym though ion thursday we went to Den Haag (45mins by fast train) from there to Rotterdam to visit a friend in the hospital that just got a new liver transplant. he was recovering really fast. Was very happy of meeting him we haven't managed to meet up in like 4 years :(

The evening we spent in Den Hague with a colleague of mine and went out to eat a fantastic steak dinner <3

Came back to the hotel in the middle of the night :P
We had a fantastic time, now lets just hope she gets to Sweden soon to visit us :)

...coming week in Norway.
Days flies..and next Sunday I need to have written the majority of my essay...
This is going to be fairly interesting..
Guess what I will be doing all damn week?
ordering books like crazy and writing a shit load of methodology..and on top of that..chasing ppl that hasn't sent me their answers to my questionnaire..
Bah!
There is more fun stuff to do than this..but I'm hoping to learn something in the process :/
Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it..loads of it :(

Sorry for poor updating...

But Ive been working OK?!?!?

Meaning I'm not home, and I Do not have time to write more than really short stuff in Word and then save them as drafts until I manage to get my hands on the pictures.

Ive been traveling nonstop for the past 5 weeks..
This will be my first 7 days in a row at home..And I intend to enjoy it.

Started yesterday with some wine and Cheese for ppl I haven't met in months.
Was just great..exactly what I needed to be honest.

Today its going to be training, raid and good food and just me and Centi together.
Going to be fantastic...maby go to the cinema someday this week..I'm rather interested in the movie "The Adjustment Bureau".
My brother saw it the past week and recommends it..he said its a bit to much romance for him int he movie but apparently it is worth seen on cinema.
Thats enough for me..so think I'm gonna book it ^^

New contract

So 2 weeks of travels to Oslo has passed and Im dog tired.
Yesterday I didnt even manage to get timely *blush*
Good thing one can work like an idiot since I have my laptop home.

Moving is finnished I just need to buy some new stuff and then all looking good.
Carbon boxes (all 50 of them) was unpacked after one week and while Ive been travelling Centi has gotten all stuff up on the walls *lub*

a lot of my time has gone to write on my school paper (33 pages) and last saturday I managed ot send it in and hopefully getting my degrees on that course.
Meanwhile Im supposed to start up for real on my B-Essay..will c how that goes^^

Also Last thursday (about a week back) I managed to write my new job contract with Norwegian Manpower.
Feel skinda strange leaving Adecco after 9 years but new times new challanges.
Last time I moved I got my self a new assigment this time I get a new employeer :P
Keeping bisy as always.

Also my foot, Its a bit better and I have started to train again (and yes just as much as before) dont think most ppl even noticed me being away from the classes since I was at the gym side anyway..and due to my travels (wich means im bisy 24-7) It was easier than if I would have worked from home.
I need that 1h break at lunchtime to get my nerves back in place.

Now..back to fixing my laundry..need training clothes for noon today ^^

Back in school

So this semester is crazy...
I have a trainee...I need a new assignment and I have like 3 different school tasks to do in 3 months.
At least I can say to my guildies I have a life.
To my friends I have no life
and to my dog I'm never home..but still doesn't have a life.
Life gotta be overrated..please tell me its so.
Otherwise I'm going to get horribly emo over all the fun stuffz I have missed due to school, work, training, travels etc etc

Anyway my B essay is about Quality..it doesn't sound to much fun but actually I'm going to focus on companies that has already been ISO certified for a while and investigate how they have done to integrate the Quality thinking into their organization.
I think its very interesting :)

Gaia Shopping

And everyone that knows me starts probably to smile now. Its not because it never happens really its rather that I'm not shopping the normal stuff as girls usually do, yeah well u know shoes, makeup and shit. OK, if its not training shoes, body paint for sensation or training clothes. And actually its none of it..I went to my favorite sport store and bought a.....CROSS-TRAINER!! Yeah u heard me..an own one..it live snow in my living room, looking dead ugly (I need a bigger apartment seriously) anyway, my plan is to every morning stand on that thing for between 30-60 minuter depending on how I'm gonna train the rest of the day. Its orange, its cool its...MINE!!!! And I do know what ppl think now.. "-WTF the girl is at the gym like 10h/week what the hell is she to buy training equipment for" And that is true..problem is that I suck at cardio..really suck at it. I love taking a long walk with Xa..but not when Em tired as hell, or it rains, or hales, or snows or..yeah well u get it. So the Cross-trainer is here to mock me every time its bad weather outside that I cant skip training :P So now I don't have any excuses not to..and besides..when I'm traveling Im always on the cross-trainer at least 30 mins each morning before breakfast..and I like it..so why not do it at home ;) wish me luck!

Kompledigt är inte lika med semester?!?

Det fick jag lära mig idag.

Då min arbetsgivare tillsammans med facket i år har mina övertidstimmar på hårdkoll så hade jag samlat mig en redig summa timmar i min kompbank första 8 månaderna av året.
Så när det blev semestertid ringde jag till min chef och frågade om det var ok och ta det i kompledighet, sagt och gjort.
Allt frid och fröjd, fram tills idag :S
Då får jag ett email fårn min chef att jag MÅSTE ta 4 veckor semester eller så blir jag uttvingad på semester.
JAg mest men halååå jag har varit ledig, jag har haft 3 underbara veckor kompledigt.
Men enligt våra fantastiska regler som skall anses som "skyddslagstiftning" så anses inte komp vara ledighet!
Hur resonerar man då?
Jo, man stämmer arbetsgivaren om denna inte ser till att de anställda tar ledigt, dvs om jag endast jobbat halva året och det halva året råkar infinna sig på semesterperiod så kan jag bli utvingad på semester ÄVEN om jag inte har några betalda semesterdagar.
Så den fantastiska skyddslagstifningen för anställda försätter folk i konkurs mao.

I mitt fal hamnar jag int ei konkurs men däremot har jag en trainee nu hela resten av detta året som jag måste lära upp från inget för att överta mitt jobb.
samtidigt skall jag börja bli upptränad själv för min nya tjänst...ni ser kanske det själva, jag har itne direkt möjlighet att ta ut någon semester.
Och efter årsskiftet innan semesteråret är slut så kan jag ju knappast i min nya position börja med en månad semester!!

Jag ringde tom till facket och frågade vafan detta är för TVINGANDE skyddslagstiftning och om det går att avtala bort att arbetsgivaren har skadeståndsskyldighet om JAG VÄLJER att inte vilja ha semester.
Enligt facket så är lagen tillför att arbetsgivaren inte skall kunna avtala bort semestern för sina anställda. Och jag mest "arbetstagaren har RÄTT till 4 veckors sammanhängande semester under sommarmånaderna" är inte en rätt..det är ett TVÅNG.
Ett socialistiskt tvång som har slagits igenom för alla människor som hatar sitt arbete, har noll arbetsglädje och jobbar endast för pengarna i lönekuvertet bevisligen.

Så alla vi som älskar vårt arbete, inte har problem med att jobba lite mer när det krävs och kan faktiskt säga NEJ. vi får sitta här och skämmas och blir infasade i samma spår som alla lata volvo anställda.
Fördjävligt tycker jag som absolut inte är utarbetad och faktiskt haft 3veckor ledigt som mest trodde arbetgivaren missat att jag varit kompledig eller inte ville betala ut mina sem dagar i pengar, men ack det var sossarnas skydda dom svaga själp dom starka lagar som "leder vägen" (läs: forcerar)

Så vad gör man nu..jo man tar ledigt varenda en fredag resten av året då..samt lite ledigt kring jul och så flörtade ajg med arbetgivaren och slippa ta ut 4 veckor utan bara 3..ifall jag ville åka på en resa i mars månad i alla fall.
Det gick och lösa och förhoppningsvis märker inte kunden att jag är borta allt för mycket.
Samt ledigheten i december då bord emin trianee kunna klara sig utan mig...eller?
Men vafan såmcyket bråk för at tjag ville själv bestämma över mitt egna liv, det är tydligen förbjudet *mummel*
